Typical applications

  • Humanoid robot hands
  • Robot arm end effectors
  • Teleoperation and robot learning data collection
  • Prosthetics and rehabilitation research
  • Lab and light assembly handling

Choosing the right one

  • Active degrees of freedom are the joints the hand drives on its own; the other joints follow through linkages, so count the active ones when comparing dexterity.
  • Check grip force against the heaviest object, with margin for friction and acceleration.
  • Tactile or force sensing in the fingertips helps with fragile objects and closed-loop grasping.
  • Check the interface (RS485, Modbus, CAN, EtherCAT) and the SDK against your robot's controller.
  • Weight at the wrist costs payload: a hand's weight comes off what the arm can lift.

About this product

It integrates absolute position sensors and force sensors for real-time force feedback, holds position when powered off (self-locking) and communicates over RS485. W versions add a 2-DOF wrist. Sold as one hand, left or right: tell us which when you order.
