The guides, selection guides and product line pages on this site are written by the Tolerance Labs engineering team: the people who source, check and ship the parts.
How the content is made
- Specifications come from each maker’s published datasheets, manuals and product pages, normalized to the same units so models can be compared side by side.
- Where makers publish conflicting numbers, we use the datasheet value and keep spec cells to short facts.
- Comparisons and selection guides rank models on those published specifications. We do not bench-test every model, and we say so where it matters.
- We sell many of the products we write about. Selection guides also include models we don’t sell when they are the better fit.
- Each guide shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
If a number looks wrong, tell us and we will check it against the maker’s datasheet.
